Sharks

The Sharks of Carcharias

Carcharias was born with a very simple concept in mind - to spread the message about the importance of the white shark (carcharadon carcharias) in the ocean, as well as to promote South Africa as a shark diving destination.

However, many people don't understand just how unique every last shark is. Our involvement with Oceans Research (an organisation dedicated to the research and conservation of marine life throughout southern Africa) has given us a specialist insight into the behaviour and personality of many great white sharks throughout South Africa's coastline.

The fundamental concept was to raise awareness to the great white shark and other marine species throughout South Africa, through a unique clothing range inspired by the great white shark, we now offer a wide selection of hats, long sleeve t-shirts, short sleeve t-shirts, jackets and swimwear for ladies, men and kids alike.
